So In my home, with 1960’s -electro anlage, I sometimes have spikes & ticks. I noticed they can occur when my neighbour switches on her vacuum cleaner. I believe those are the same spikes tits talks about. That’s what we call dirty power.

You are right that the problem is caused by the source, in this case a vacuum cleaner. It’s just that it’s picked up by my DAW, and I’m the one having problems.

Note: both my neighbour and I do not have grounded sockets, we only have them in the kitchen and bathroom. That is common in older houses. I have a surge protector like the one Gyro Gearloose showed, but these only work on grounded sockets. Also, I don’t think they make any difference when these spikes are audible.

He states that power conditioners are a last resort, and not always work. The underlying problem should be handled differently..

Was für eine behinderte Antwort, bist wohl bisschen mental eingeschränkt.
Wenn du dich schon halbwegs auskennst dann mach dir doch die mühe zu erläutern wieso es sinnvoll, bzw. nicht sinnvoll wäre.

 

Ich fand auch nicht, daß seine Antwort besonders geschickt, oder konstruktiv war, aber Deine Beleidigung ist auch unnötig gewesen.

Ich wünschte ich könnte mich besser rechtfertigen aber ich fürchte ich bin einfach kein Mensch der sowas einfach hinnimmt.
