It's a very, very nice mix, good technicals, but it sounds like a million other things just like it.

 

kneck bobing, check
wicked flow and rythem, check
great sounding voice, check

tight mix,
the choice on making the hihats THAT low in the mix, questionable.
personaly i find alot of the hihats in most tracks tuned up WAY too much, or are given too much space. so i digg that you downplayed them. but maybe bring them just a smitch backup so they dont drown that much.

musical orginality, chosing first single as a new artist is always the hardest!
you want to make your self standapart, but also want to blend inn. with outhearing anything else from you, i hear this and 2nd single maybe. where the first would sound more "you/unique" and less "others"

for what ever its worth

 

1. Quality of the song and mix: More than sufficient.
2. Music style / genre : More than enough!!!

 

not found of the "instrumental" part ( more noise than other things to me ),
but the rest is very good : the rythm, 808, the voice is recorded prefectly, imo, and I like your flow.

I'd be happy to collab and make instruments on this if you want and if you've got the separate tracks, just for the fun of it, so if you want, PM me

agreed lol This beat was made to be very very very commercial? thats wrong word.. made to be so annoying you wana hear it again lol.
I have a very wide range though as far as what i do for songs. Love all kinds of stuff. Even record some blues!

I cant thank everyone enough for all this positive feedback.
I've been doing music for a very long time but this Album im doing now will technically be my freshmen so all of this is amazing to me!
Yall know how us artists are. perfectionist, Self doubting types.

Fair talk! This was supposed to be my most "main stream" sounding song . Something nice and easy for the kiddies to choke down.
I have a feeling once everyone strats hearing the other stuff they will be a bit surprised lol.

Bi-Polar Hi Rollaaaa. My album has more up's and downs then peaks and valleys.
Gonna be a emotional ride. ash pt.2 just the Dumb Gitty side of it ahaha.

Appreciate the honesty about originality tho. and hella appreciate the comment on the mix. I take lots of pride in my production and engineering.

 

I'll admit im nervous about the hi hats thats why they are so low lol..
The final cut of the song with the third verse does indeed have them i think 2db higher.
Just i HATE trap volume but i LOVE the patterns ;P

my persona is Suburban Pot Head. but I want to do it better then everyone before me. Really bringing some technical flow and lyrics to the table. Because the suburban rap scene.. is trash .. except for old school DZK.
