i've been trying to get into making trap beats, i been looking for a sample pack that makes quality one shot trap samples, mainly the kicks; like the boomy subby ones you'd see in a 2chainz/chief keef kinda song

and a quality brand like vengeance is for dance music but for trap, i've heard a couple names but either didn't like it or it had horrible reviews

and another random request, ive been downloading a huge instrument sample library and a lot of small preset/skin stuff for my synth, with uploaded's limits it going o take me days/weeks to finish :( and a friend of mine at audioz gave me 48 hour premium pass but forgot to mention it was going to expire in less than 16 hours, so i never even got to activate it :( so just curious if anyone has an 1 they arent using laying around, its fine if you dont .

but any input on the trap kick samples would be amazing

Loopstarz, misfit digital, vandalism, Prime Loops, Jungle Loops, Sample Station to name a few- just make sure before you get one its not the preassembled breakdown packs as you are looking for just construction kits- its good you want to use construction kits as opposed to just using the pre-built loops- just load up those 808's into your sampler/mpc and you are set to make your own trapppppppp

    trap is everywhere now!

    good luck and have fun

I have these... and they are all very bad. I dont know y I hear stuff on radio, and then NO sample pack can get me there. It frustrates me. I use SSL Universal Audio. Protools HD and Real Neve 1073 Preams. NOTHING works with these sample packs... I'm also looking for that tight sub kick with knocking .... too bad no sample library can do what I hear on some (not all ) songs I hear.

thats the problem with these sample packs, people want to use them in their productions, and expect them to sound a certain way and if they dont then the "sounds suck"

you have to treat them like any other "instrument"- every sound you use should be properly eq'd, and when appropriate compressed or limited, and of course there is reverb, panning, and stereo separation to consider- all these will considerably change the sounds you start with

granted, start with sh*t you'll end with sh*t most of the time, bot alot of it is how you use it

and if you need real sounds, like that deep knocking kick or mega subbass, use any number of vsti synths to make it yourself~ GUARANTEED it will sound the best it can since you have control of the frequencies and attack/release ratios

or a drum sampler vst of course

    just sayin...

    good luck!

    frito zanzibar said it best

I dunno if this is any help but. Guys like Johnny Juliano, Superstar O, Pablo Beatz have some great soundpacks and MOST of their earlier Packs were aimed at the Trap Musicians

Maybe check out IndustryKitz.com if you havent already

All the best on ur musical endeavours :break:
