I purchased omnisphere and keyscape. I am trying to use keyscape creative.. Every time I try I get this message.

 

Are any of the keyscape creative patches or keyscape patches working with omnisphere

 

I see your new here. Welcome to the Forum. First thing you need to do is tell us what Operating System do you use? what version of keyscape do you use? If on Windows, go to C: Program Data\Spectrasonics\ STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library| and delete the zmap. index.
If that does not work send me your zmap.index by PM. I would need to take a look at it.

Edit: I forgot to ask you to do the following:
go to C: Program Data\Spectrasonics\ STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library\Keyboards and tell me
1. What is the size of the whole keyboard folder
2. Open it and tell me if you see a file MK-80 Celeste.db and if it is there what is the size?

As long as you have an up-to-date Keyscape, and a true STEAM folder ALL of them do work.

Keyscape patches work it’s just the creative that doesn’t work

 

Sorry didn’t see this.. I’m using windows 10 64bit
I tried deleting the keyscape zmap.index
Keyboard folder is 71.5 Gb
I see the mk-80 Celeste in the keyboard folder and the size is 235,880 KB

 

I just used the usb drives that spectrasonics provides and did full installations. How do I send the zmap to you??

 

I have six green lights.. it says everything is up to date.

 

none of these work? Or only the Celeste?

Then I'm leaning to corrupt MK-80 Celeste.db file in; STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library\Keyboards .
It's only 235MB so I can send it to you if you want to try

 

Majority of the keyscape creative files do not work.. random?? how would they end up corrupt if I installed it from the A & B usb installers and my cpu never went to sleep or anything?? Is there a way to uninstall keyscape?? That shit took like 12 hours to install

 

So if the majority of Keyscape creative files are not working it is probably not corrupt .db files. What happens when you try these ones through the Keyscape.dll? Are they working?


If they are working as they should it is probably some issue with the Omnisphere not the Keyscape. Then the first thing you should try is to delete the zmap.index here:
STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\Factory\Core Library
Also check that your Omnisphere core library folder are around 64GB
Then do a refresh of all the presets in Omnisphere.


If that does not work try and reinstall all the updates one more time; soundsources, patches and software (for both Omnisphere and Keyscape).

I appreciate your help. I am now getting a different error message in keyscape itself. I really do not know what the hell I am doing wrong?? Last install took almost 12 hours.. I am at a lost for words

 

@thebluprnt Check your PM. You have an incomplete keyboard database inside your Keyscape STEAM folder.

How do I do that? Im having same problem.

 

Could you maybe send me the complete keyboard db files as well? I ran into an issue with part 10 of extracting and now I'm running into a similar issue...

 

If you ran into problems extracting you better download the whole thing again. I spent my time to post the SHA256 for Omnisphere and Keyscape. I am not going to be sending individual files to ANYONE. First, you check the SHA256 (you need to look up the thread) Second, if it is different from the one I posted, you either download the whole thing or find someone who wants to do you the favor, and supply you with what you need. I am sorry but am tired of uploading this and that file for Omnisphere, and Keyscape.
