I don't know what to do... I rarely do.

I have an intro which I like. Then I spoil the whole thing by doing something predictable and boring. Any ideas on how this should proceed? To the trash?

I got "don't break the silence" well if it's good enough for Eno I'll take it at face value and delete the musical section.
It wasn't working for me anyway. Thanks!:thanks:

Blooming heck, that's loud af, Mr Oud.
Cool that your surname is both an instrument and an expensive fragrance!
Notsol is a jewish name, yeah?

But seriously now. I do like like the bendy/portamento synth thing. And the glitchiness of the intro.
I'd never believe it was from the same creator as your other stuff.
I don't think any of it is overly predictable, no.
    Especially the volume wasn't!

Actually, to add to that, I'll say that I like the creativeness of it, but it's not something that I'd really listen to.
But I try to stay open-minded in evaluating creations.

Oops! I've been mixing on my JBL4412's and getting swept away by the sheer force of them. Better go back to the NS-10's. They sound horrible loud.

    I got "into the impossible"...
Yeah. I'm currently re-downloading & reinstalling over 100 plugins since I had one of my drives with a particular cloned system die on me...
No; that one wasn't backed up.

I don't care what people say about backing everything up. If you're a musician, it is simply not possible. My Mac is backed up, but there's no way I'm backing up 6TB of Kontakt libraries. Not to mention my ext SSD with all my tracks, and another SSD for loops, samples and SFX.

Yeah right. It's just because I noodle with other DAWs and OS, and older 32bit plugs.
My main thang is working okay, and on SSD. But this stuff was running on an old WD spinny thing! lol. So it serves me right.
It's actually only Fabfilter, Softube, Roland Cloud, Voxengo, Sonnox, and a few others. But it's still a lot of plugs.
Granted, I was happy with the native Logic plugs really! haha. Oh and Waves, which I've had for years. And thankfully don't have to reinstall them.

Hey SL; there's only one plugin that I can't remember who made it...

It was a stereo width controller. It isn't the Boz one, and it isn't the A1Audio one...
I think it was just one knob as well.
    Any ideas what it was?
I've used it in loads of Logic projects, which were saved on a separate drive <phew>!
But not able to open those projects yet to see what plugin will be greyed out!

I'll have a look for you in the morning when I warm up the old jalopy. If it exists, I'm sure I have it.

    Thank you.
It was great for fitting overly stereo rhodes and pianos in the mix...
In fact I'd just narrow them down totally.

    hi notsoloud
Maybe after the intro u could add a diff beat..maybe a jungle or dnb groove cause the intro is kinda busy or maybe put in a loud snare its kinda weak ..kick too..and u could change the patch on the melody... add some pitch bends or guitar dive bombs ..also the drum rolls seems to stand all alone..nuthin else accentuating those parts..
    some ideas.. :)

Write the intros always after you finish the main parts, so you never get stuck...
Based on what I've just heard on your soundcloud, your best genre is funk (and maybe 80s pastiche). Write more funky tracks like "Souled out". You can also adapt this style to funky/disco house, it's still a popular club genre that sells tunes.
    Good luck.

Air guitar, layer upon layer, lots and lots of air guitars...and maybe an oboe solo to fade out the song.

imho that lead sound is weak switch it to an aggressive one and maybe a bass sound underneath it will be better. all in all i like it
