I'm very curious, as an experiment I want to recreate the first 14 secs of this song but I'm not really sure about how many instuments are playing... (I can only think about Vocals, violins, trumpets? maybe... and lots of percussions)

    Thanks for helping!

Oh, if you let out that crash cymbal, you'll never get even close..;)

Seriously, IMO it's a typical symphonic orchestra (apart the vocal part ofc.) I don't hear violins playing a big part here. At the beginning you have the accents with low strings (celli+basses) and low brass, while snare drum playing the classic military ra-tatata pattern. Then at the end of the second bar there is a trill on the flute which starts the woodwind part which leads to adding the rest of the orchestra with some key notes played on trombones (+tumpets?)

The instrumentation and composition is similar to that of a marching bands. My advice would be - look for similar sounding compositions that have a transcript and study the score (find it on Youtube).. or videos, where you can see the orchestra. You didn't seriously mean someone would have the answer to (exactly) how many instruments are playing..;) My guess is 73 though :D

P.S. There can be synthesizers supporting the orchestra, esp the low end..

I can hear one of everything. Just keep adding instruments, you'll get there.

thanks @Matt777 for taking the time to explain me how does this works! i'll try to study marching bands, I think is a good start there. (And yeah, I didn's mean to know the exact number of instruments hahaha).

@notsoloud I'll try! Thanks a lot for the encouragement.
