Hi all, I think to buy Studio One Pro 4.5 and I wonder that can I use pirate plugins/VSTs, if I use legit Studio One 4? I'm using demo of it and everything is work but I want to be sure. And there is another thing that when I'm using legit Studio One Pro v4.5, I realized that legit one is a little bit faster than the pirate one. Do you know anything about it ? Please share your experience with me.

 

Yes, you can use pirated plugins with any legit daw.

 

Prove it!! Just kidding. Are you comparing the legit Studio 4.5 to the R2R 4.1.4? Or are you comparing a legit 4.5 to the "patched' 4.5? Are they in exact same system with exact same plugins? That is the only way to make a fair and accurate comparison.

True. Unless your DAW rejects them. Only very few plugins get rejected BUT you can have another DAW that will accept them and use Rewire within your favorite DAW.

 

You're right. I did a mistake. I didn't test between legit SO v4.5 and pirate SO v4.5. I've talked about difference between SO v4.5 and SO v4.1.4 in same sytem and same plugin but I got confused about versions of SO, they're not same.
