In the interview, the man stated that you can switch between 12 and 24 bit.

Yet another digital digital digital clone

They dont bother to also use "analog compoments" as the originals did

Now the customer have to buy vsts/hardware that emulate the grittiness from that time...right ;-)

@kims you got it so wrong, check the latest video for the circuit board design.

I wonder, what the price will be for the final product.

Isla is aiming at a sub-$1,000 price for the SP-2400, which uses 24-bit sample architecture instead of the SP-1200’s 12-bit depth

Don't understand the price point. A real emu is 3-4 k, and that's only because it's a legendary piece of gear. It has history. It's vintage. This is a clone. Surely should be 500 or less.

Isla's Instruments is the worst when it comes to delivering the product that you already paid for. It basically is a one man operation and if the same thing that happened with the Kordbot takes place with the SP, it is going to be a nightmare. With its Kordbot, customers waited months, some of them more than 2 years for the delivery. I waited 9 months for mine. The owner, Brad Holland, was not aplogetic at all when we complained. That is the reason why I have not, and will not ordered the SP. He lost me as a direct buyer of his products. I would rather wait to buy it second hand or even pay extra for it when someone posts it on Reverb.
    Both 12 and 24.
