While mulab might have that builtin, there's external plugs https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/spl_drumxchanger.html that can add to most DAWs.

For most part, your DAW doesn't matter. If you don't spend time to choose at the start (or don't have time), or your needs change, you can change DAWs ( with provisos ), and that's fine. I went from GB > L > Au > RPR over 10 years.

It's possible to edit your posts instead of double posting.

Ok soz perhaps i overreacted a bit, it just baffles me that some people did not test mulab and consider it "just another daw". While in reality it is, it has some nice audio editing capabilities. I would have hoped for some suggestions instead of this discussion, cause afaik ableton can not do "real multitracking". Of course I can live with it, been parting with it since live 7.

In kontakt for example you can literally glue waveforms together if you have patience, heck even cool edit pro still holds the top 5 spot for best audio editors.

And yes drum replacement, but who the hell does this like common, like when you record imo shit in is shit out, thats always with recording instruments. Btw, apulsoft Apptrigga is very good for this, but I dont have the time really, just want to record and not rehearse, which is the way forward no matter what instruments you play.

And btw, drum-replacement is really for when a drummer may have just hit one or two beats irregularly, and one would replace with his own snare from another point in the track...and he's flown back to his country so can't be called in again.

It does matter to me, though. And no, people don't constantly check. I used to always upd posts so as not to 'back-to-back' post, as the rules ask for, but only for people to miss stuff because they don't check, and would be expecting a notification.
