Because I do not want to configure all kind of things. It just does what it should without me caring about things I do not want to. It just does pretty much one thing for me and nothing else. That's exactly what I want.

Would you suggest buying Freiraum, over the bundle that contains Smart EQ2, Proximity and Entropy. Im just wondering does Freiraum have the full features of all 3 combined? Freiraum is actually cheaper than the bundle so which would you suggest?

 

I've used both (and only really use the EQ portion of Freiraum). In Freiraum you can set up 3 "magic wand" EQ nodes and move those individually. Whereas I'm pretty sure w/ Smart EQ it's just 1 "magic" node that you can set/play with. I haven't smartEQ all that much but I liked having the ability to set 3 different areas that were each analyzed for their own EQ.

You can see the 3 nodes in the center at the top that have the "magic wand" icon in this video.

Hope that makes sense.

For me, the innovative things are the implementation of AI in Sample/Drum management plugins like Atlas and XLN XO.

And cable guys HalfTime is just a super easy and super useful Tool for quickly applying that halftime effect.
