    Hi,
currently I am using AudioFinder on macOS to manage and edit my samples.
Which Sample Browser under Windows includes destructive sample editing like trim, split, normalize, please ?

Resonic looks perfect but it doesnt include editing features as I saw ?

yeah i saw that, I am looking to trim, and slice stems or other stuff. so not dragging and leaving the orginal as is.

In audio finder it is just like double click a file, edit, save done.
Yesterday I tried resoning in conjunction with wavosaur which works somehow similar but way slower than using audiofinder.

On the other hand playback is faster on resonic and it support drag and drop moving files which af doesnt support.

IMO I find that loopcloud works great. You can slice, edit (probably limited to others mentioned in terms of editing) andeven play one shots/ loops via midi trigger. It also adds tags, bpm, and keys by auto detect. The only problem I find is that it took me about 3 days to have almost 1 million sample analyzed (understandable). It's also pretty slow on initial startup but again understandable due to the sheer size of my library .

    I've been using sononym https://www.sononym.net
good for finding samples that are similar to each other, no trimming or slicing though.

seen that, not tried yet. But it looks like that it wont help me reducing file sizes, i have tons of stems from my songs which i like to remix. but they are huuuuuuge in space. so i wanna cutn them down so that i can reuse them more easy and reduce their footprint. my 1tb main drive slightly gets filled up, mostly with silence of the stems which kinda suxx

It will definitely trim the sample to whatever size you want and exports processed samples hence reducing the footprint of the original sample and overall file size. As far as compression I don't think it does that. It's free so I would say it's a no brainier to give it a try. In addition they give you 150 free samples every week to try through cloud. Whatever you want you can download.

Take a look and judge if this is something you would be interested in.

ADSR Manager, Sononym, Loopcloud, Atlas, XO.
For my impression, ADSR Manager, ATLAS and XO are better.
Loopcloud is permanent online, you need to access before using this.
ADSR Manager, Sononym and Loopcloud don't have a sequencer integrated like Atlas and XO.
ADSR Manager and Loopcloud have the options to list and ordinate by KEY.
XO, Atlas and Sononym have the options to list and ordinate by PITCH and similarity. (Sononym is looking for average pitch, if you are looking for simple KEY is not for you).
XO is a little more fast to analyze your samples. The others are slow as fuck.
XO, ADSR Manager takes years to opens in full load projects. Maybe is my systems, maybe not (tried with 2 different systems with i7 8 core and i7 4 core and same problem) ADSR Manager make my DAW crash in full projects if I don't start it first as standalone in first boot only in windows, probably legated with windows defenders, with osx is ok but is slow in opening.
ADSR Sample Manager is listed with TAGS. Very very very useful things.
ADSR Sample Manager and LoopCloud are FREE.

I believe you can use loopcloud offline now as they integrated adding your own samples. ADSR SM looked promising but LC has more features to my workflow. I can't speak for the others on you mentioned as I have not tried.

Yeah sorry I tested LoopCloud only a couple of time and appears the window for login, I was with internet so I associated that to be forced online, sorry.
For the Own samples, yes it works pretty well, as ADSR Sample Manager, but way more fast and less buggy. The cool things is that you can import samples purchased at Loopmasters via cloud. But I have purchased samples only in beatport and dedicated sites like Vengeance or Samplephonics. Samplephonics have a new partnership with the "NOIIZ" guys that are very talented in programming and as less I know, they released in beta a cloud sample manager like LoopCloud.

For everyone who read this, post below if you guys know a good alternative Sample Manager, I'm always looking for the best one.

    .

    @all
Thank you for the answers !

Playing back samples is noting special.

It is about destructive editing samples.

By destructive I mean it will
    edit the source
    and do not
    create a new.

    .

Edit it but not create a new sample? ADSR lets you play at different keys, edit pitch, and trim. But once you bounce it out it returns to its original form. I'm not sure where to find what you're looking for, let me know if you find it

Also wanted to add that on loopcloud when you open it you get new free samples in inspiration section everytime. I've tried opening, claiming then close and repeat several times and I literally was able to get 10gb of free samples. It might be a glitch but wow I am very impressed:rofl:. I know adsr doesn't do this nor any sample manager platform.
