    My 6th grade leaving elementary school graduation gift from my parents was an AM-FM tuner cassette tape recording enabled mono boom-box-ish white rectangle that I recorded Horse With No Name off of the radio on. It was on my heavy rotation that summer of 1971 along with this... Don McLean's American Pie.

    Both tunes been on such an incredible tape i adore as a 12 years old, never been my tape, but i was able to listen to it on a regular basis at a friends. Grandmasterflashs Streetscene on it, Slick Rick & Dougie Fresh Ladidadi, Al Naafiysh by Hashim, Soul Sonic Force Planet Rock, maaan, that tape was an ephinany for me back then, it took up to several decades to locate some of those tunes. We used to listen to this on a big fat ghettoblaster with shiny lights n stuff, magic times.
    This tune was one of the hardest to find, took me 20plus years, but it was one of my favs back then, such immense energy:
