nope...nexus is a rompler...so it is a VSTi

further VST is pretty pretty big field of audio plugins...so...generic termbut these are no vst instruments ......instruments are VSTi

but also this a generic term...i think you guys dont even kno its a rompler and no synth and has layerd and processed samples in it...no synthese involved..no raw sounds involved

Every synth works with every genre. There's no VST for EDM and you'll never find one. The sounds can be. Learn how to make sounds that you like and then you can use any synth you have.

Define "good". What do you like about the sound. Does it glide from one note to another? How long does the glide take? Is there reverb? Delay? Does it start quickly or does it fade in slowly? How slowly? Drop the song in your DAW and listen to the sound many times closely to find what it is that you like. Take notes.

Nobody can help you, you need to help yourself by learning what precisely you want to get.

Did someone mention this phrase to you? Strum guitar is literally the same as guitar. Any guitar sound will do. The "strum" part refers to the notes that are being played.

Do yourself a favour and beg for money from someone and buy Hans Zimmer Masterclass instead of assuming he created his own library.
There is no single human on the earth that created himself a library for orchestral music, not even Nick Phoenix and Thomas Bergersen, because for each instrument you need different player to record, for 10 instruments, you already have 10 + yourself, equals 11 people involved in creating library.
You need enginers for shapping sound.
You need enginers for reverbing sound.

"EDM" is like the emo of electronic music these days, its a cheap ripoff of several other styles in most cases and doesnt really require any specific instruments/tools to create. I could make a track with a bunch of chopped guitar samples, it really doesn't matter. Dune or Serum if youre gonna go the preset route.

VST (Virtual Studio Technology) is technology of virtual plugins started by Steinberg.
Sub categories are:
VSTi (Virtual Studio Technology instrument)
VSTfx (Virtual Studio Technology effects)

Both VST and VSTi, but different sub categories again:
Nexus is VST, is VSTi, is ROMpler with possibility to shape sounds, is not synth.
Sylenth1 is VST, is VSTi, is Synth, and is possible ROMpler.
