Hi. In past I had sylenth1 and than for some reason i remember i had to uninstall it, as it was not compatible with Windows 10. I am looking for similar vst that I can download from audioz, which has many banks like sylenth1 and isnt heavy on ram or cpu. I have refx nexus, but its not made for trap and banggers, it just does not sound modern, its like in era of "Round Trance and Dance styles". Basically, I need it for trap, reggaeton, dancehall-edm-pop (not clean dancehall which can be made by round nexus sounds, but banging type of pop music) type of music. Examples: Basicaly, banger sounds, good pads, good leads, good plucks, good synths... So anyone please help. And strum guitar for "High end - high freqs strumming".

I have nexus 2.2, i know there are better expansions for later versions. That track he made is trash anyway.
Sylenth1 works on Win10 fine on my computer. I have disabled the antivirus, firewall and all spyware crap. My machine is offline. If the OP wants to preset whore - Massive, Serum, Spire, Sylenth1, Zebra2, Synthmaster, Dune 1/2/3, Electra2. Synth1 - free synth and there are like 20 000 free sounds for it. "Trap" synths -apply mono legato and portamento to any sound. Add trombone or fake synth brass samples. You are done. EDM - stack unison voices. You can do it manually, if the synth has no such options or you want more realism - copy the synth and change some settings like oscillator pitch or midi information.
Obviously people that do trap shit use Nexus2, they have 0 knowledge about music composition, arrangement, sound design. The cancer of music. SYLENTH1 is basically a crappy clone of VIRUS TI. Search the clone shit in vst about Virus TI and you find your """""VST""""" DUNE,ZEBRA, and SPIRE for example. And be specific, VST can be synth or dynamics or whatever, but yeah you do trap shit with 0 knowledge that's normal for kids like you. PLEASE GOD DO SOMETHING.
Nexus is the best VST ever made. Just cracked exist to 2.2, so no new sounds. And, by the way, if we will talk about composition and theory, we are on very wrong place. Never put Musical Knowledge in same sentence / post with EDM music. Anyway, I tested Dune 3, great....shit VST sample sounds, for example, pad raises on volume till end of an chord, plucks i tried are not same note, because wijuuu, mieooow, some shit pitching, changing key notes, I dislike this type of VSTs and presets, for an hour I am looking for bass sound, all basses sound like pluck with down octave, or they sound some zombie dumbstep. Nexus is not a synthesizer is just a Rompler. Is made for lazy people that doesn't know how to do sound design. If you look for kind type of VSTi, just search ROM VSTi in google. (VST = Visual Studio Technologies, the acronym of VST is used for effects, VSTi for productions plugin). The meeeew things is called arpeggio, or modulation or i really don't understand what kind of things you refer. You can simply disable that just learn how real synthesizer work. Is simple. Far as i know, yes. but the latest release has like 4 trillion presets and banks included in install.

It all requires a working knowledge of composition. I used to feel the same way. Having been a guitarist as long as I can remember, I used to rip the younger generation for their music. Then, I got hooked on messing around with vst's. They require a whole different approach to writing and playing. I still love to play guitar and crank out brilliant classical stuff, but I also enjoy a whole different world as well. Look, nobody is going to put a gun to your head and make you like what you don't. But, instead of trashing other peoples work, then put something out yourself that changes the world of music. Music should always expand to new frontiers and break new boundaries.
