    Hi Everyone,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, feel free to move if so.

i'm just wondering how i would go along the lines of making bass lines like Ben Coda's track, Kinetik (PREVIEW BELOW). Been a fan of this kind of Techno for around 5 years now and love the sound design of it but i have no idea on how to even begin with making that sound. I am currently switching between Ableton 10 & FL Studio 20 and the closest i have come to getting near to even replicating the bass line is via Ableton 10.

Any tips or sample packs i should be using to help aid me?

    TRACK PREVIEW

    TIA

I chatted with him years ago, he uses Sylenth 1 for most of his basslines. He's a logic user too. Samples are mostly vengeance.

Wasn't expecting such a quick reply. Thanks man, just read through his 'interview' about his equiptment. I am also using Sylenth1 & I also use Serum as my main VST's but can't seem to replicate the bass line nor pattern of it. Such a groovy, uplifting bass!

I use Slyenth1 myself as well as Serum. I'm looking to replicate the bass line and pattern so i can use as a guide into making tracks like Ben's. Got any tips of how to do so?

analog gear helps alot. or at least to me, making live sounds, twisting knobs. etc. u can do automations but that will take a bit longer (filter, lfo, automations) by the time ur on a few automations you probably will lose the vibe and feel to make the track lol.
