    In my country we have lots of influences from african culture. The inspiration for this track was that I was living in a house at the time, and some guys that lived nextdoor started to have some religious celebrations with lots of loud percussive drums throughout the night on some days (you can even hear it - a field recording of a little chanting - at the beginning of the song, in the background when the drums come in). I was kind of fascinated by the percussive elements used in these celebrations, but could never capture them properly to use in a song.
