Because usually the "problem" is, depending on the situation, between monitor and chair/keyboard and chair (who composes and who listens)(?)!

Calm.Down hasn't actually done anything wrong here, he asked a question and made a couple of statements, he didn't force anyone to read it or to respond, so it's not like he came on to anyone else's thread and did the "you don't need to learn theory" thing, his question is legit to him, so to call him a troll here would be incorrect and unfair.

isn't the most appreciated skill in this arena the ability to write thoroughly emotive pieces within the confines of the orchestras defined instrumentation (loosely akin to 'you must know the rules to break the rules')? Is that not the composers challenge? This classic structuring allows other artists and listeners the ability to judge a piece technically, on its harmonic & architectural merits and not float off into sonic, 'it's art' territories. imo of course

i think he was more likely asking from the point of view of an edm/hipyhop/electronica what do i kno producer sort of

I have listen to some of the (your) music you have shared with us and come to the conclusion (if these music pieces really represent the very best you can do) that you´re you simply dont have neither the will or skills for making great music at all - I hope Im wrong! All I´ve heard is indeed repetitive and boring!

I´ve also called you intellectual lazy. To me It seems like you don't want to learn anything and think the history of music and its entire development as a whole is a mockery of your person - Study music a little more serious and Im sure you´ll get overwhelmed what you can learn from it.

I guess you spend more time writing all these odd threads than you spend time actually making music.... Im I right?
