....and, no, sweeping floors while listening to Toto's Greatest Hits with earbuds does not qualify. Although if you try not to sing the high notes aloud in Africa, you score one point.

My job involves music, but generally not the music I like. Well, that's what being a "pro" is about, I guess. I have to admit that's why I really like that my job is mostly maintaining computers, rather than ruining my music taste. :) But both is fun, anyway. I'm very happy that I'm not just a studio technician, or a computer technician, or a mixer. It's more fun being all of that, and it's so closely related these days.

Nope, but I am a Graphic Designer (just recently left my previous job...). Currently I'm trying to learn and get better at 3d Graphics and CG Animation since I've always wanted to do it for many many years... maybe I can mix both together when I get better...

I spent 30 years trying to find a way to blend graphic design and music. Never found a client who needed both.

I’m a Technical Development Manager, working in IT in the health industry. Amoung other things I use my musical tech knowledge to help people who might not be able to communicate to do so. Short of doing “my” music, I don’t think I could find a job more rewarding.

really? like every commercial, presentation, photo/text/graphic animation, games, apps, CG stuff in general... I know quite a lot of guys that make this stuff and obviously can't do music by themselves. I don't mean it's gonna happen by itself, but prob easier than getting a deal for a blockbuster.
I recently made a time/hyperlapse presentation for a nearby summer-resort, music inc. Those who teach timelapse techniques always stress the importance of sound.. you save 50% if you do it by yourself. ;) This guy is one of world's top masters (but has to pay others for the music). Nice to watch all of his work:

I bet you'll love the work from beeple:

And here's what kind of music I can integrate into my day job (it's not me in the video)
