they are pitched normal. i dobt use the breaks i just cut the drums out that i like and clean them up ,pitch them to the root i need them at, and eq in the fundamental. i do alot more processing to them, like distortion, more eq, (rarely do i compress anything anymore) ill use limiting to knock off peaks if i need. I only use conpressors on drums as sidechains to duck my rides behind my kick,snare,etc. glue compressors and emulations of old gear do nothing for my genres. i got sidetracked. lol. so i love paul nice breaks collection for the snares and hats mostly, i like doing round robbin rotations on my snares and kicks,i dont use the breaks i just use the kits. ill take a kick from this break and a snare from this break.. i dont need the silence between the hits from an old break, too noisy....its not good in my genre. and i would never ever time stretch drums.

yes,those are the paul nice volumes 1 thru 11. and then there are other libraries by him as well.

Try to DL "The Makka-Drum and bass full explosion",you will find many breaks from varioius artists,interesting stuff.

 

I often put Trash2 in multiband mode but on my entire drum bus,great.

 

i use One Small Clue Poise mostly, for its simplicity,and it does everything i need it to. multiple outs, cut by, grahical envelops,and round robin.
