wave files that stays in sync

    Was wondering if any of you guys know how to create wave files that stays in sync no matter how you change the tempo,i know i came across some in a best service pack or something some time ago.THANKS!

    You cant. Wave file have fixed tempo/pitch.
    You need to use a plug in to do it which enable 'elastic' audio, or a DAW like Ableton Live.

    In Ableton Live you load a wave as loop, and if you change tempo it stays in sync. It's a DAW feature, not a Wave file format feature.

    AHAM!!! GOT IT! I GUESS it has something to do with the wave options,because like i said i did came across a while ago on some drum loops that stayed in sync no matter how i changed the tempo and i was using fl studio then.Thanks for the Reply!

    ACID Wav files

    An ACID loop file is a special type of WAV file that contains extra information that makes pitch and time manipulation easier

    Soundforge has the option to save as Acid-Loop !
    Choose "save as acidized" in the export options.

    Wavelab does that too for sure,
    and I think some others too.

    I don't know which DAW's have this export acidized loop function.
    But you can read the manual of your DAW or one you like.

    i have been looking for a acidized loop maker for Mac for a long time i still have not seen one

    INDEED ,it was acid wave files, i just exported a wave file in fl studio as acidized and it works! Thanks for all the help guys!

    It would be so cool if Uberschall opened elastik to be used with users' own samples but that won't happen tho

    (facepalm) YES! U can! You can do whats called 'acidise' your wav files. I saw the reply and was quite mad this guy gave you such bad misinformation!
    If u take ANY new loopmasters pack. They acidise all their wav! You can do this in both sound track pro, or sony sound forge.
    Its quite simple. if you would like a tutorial video, i will do one for you. (pm me)

    LOL, its not a standard wav file format feature dude.
    As has been pointed out, it is EXTRA data not in the STANDARD wave file format.
    Also, the playback software needs to support acid format files for it to work.
    It may not have been all the information the op was looking for, but it was the CORRECT information.

    in fl studios you just save as acidized with any sample you have to find the ryth cut it re sample saving it acid then re load it it will be really easy to manipulate it
