Hi ppl!

I would like to share with you a wallpapers for kontakt... I know...

There is a many topics about kontakt wallpapers BUT this topic is for people who have libraries sorted by categories like: strings, brass etc. I have sorted libraries in this way and its rlly useful... I like minimalism... even in kontakt browser :P so I decide to make my own walls [ninct] in minimalistic style in categories:

-Orchestral
-Strings
-Brass
-Percussion
-Woodwinds
-Choirs
-Voices
-Sound Design
-Pianos
-Guitars
-Synths
-Textures

During quarantine at home I decided to upgrade my wallpapers for kontakt tab.
As I love Spitfire Audio style (minimalism with landscapes) I did walls in similar tyle. And I must admit..I fkng love it <3 :D

Are you using them as master tabs or as seperators? If so, how did you create the master tabs?

use this tool to create nicnt files.... when u will do it... paste this nicnt file with wallpaper.png into the main folder.. and add it in kontakt

I was wondering, is there anyone out there that can share how they create these "master tabs or as separators"?

I have just recently installed K6.0.3 along side K5 and they both work (to my surprise) But I would really like to know if anyone out there could share on how they create "groups, master tabs or these separators" I have been wanting to group content creators together so I dont have to scroll through the ever growing list and or I would like to group content together such as "textures, sound design, atmospheres, etc."

If anyone out there could be ever so kind to share any info they have on this, that would be ever so much appreciated!

 

All I did is that:

- seperate libs by categories...
- copied all seprated lib to main folders...
->> strings -> cinesaples strings, cinematic studio etc etc
->> brass -> cinematic studio brass, cinesamples brass, etc etc
->> and so on
- created a wallpaper.png (or as u called separator) and copied to the main folder
- created a nicnt file and copied to the main folder

So the folder looks like:
"Main Folder"
- libs
- wallpaer
- nicnt file

And thats all. Run kontakt -> add library -> select "the main folder" -> restart kontakt and viola! ;)

Much easlier to browse the browser.
I did also my own config with "quick load" stuff.... I mean all is segregated by categories so its even faster that browser but the browser have some magic, right? ;)

 

Nice nice, So does this work in K6.0.3? If so then things are going to get crazy. This has been a long time coming for sure.

So after I separate all the libraries into respective categories and such, do I create a wallpaper.png and nicnt file for each category? Is that correct?

And also, I have established (built) a library now for all the libraries I have thus far. To do this kinda of thing here as you did, would I have to start from scratch meaning that I will have to deleting everything including reg entries for all libraries? Cause I know that most of these libraries create a reg entry and that the nicnt file number is usually associated with that. ( I hope that makes sense)

I am also going to do the whole "quick load" thing as well, but sometimes the browser is just a little faster and as you said "a little magical"

You dont have to start it from the scratch becouse u will need reg entries from libraries to run it.... and u dont have to delete reg entries for those libs.... If u have seperated libraries by categories, all you have to do is what i said ealier:

1. create nicnt file and copy to main folder
2. create wallpaper or use mine and copy to main folder
3. run kontakt => add library (in this case "the main" folder)
4. reset kontakt

And after that u can use all libs what u have becouse you didnt delete reg entries so they are ok ;)
