chrome doesnt support ublock origin anymore, so FF runs with nanoblocker and ublock and chrome only with nano blocker, dunno if thats fixed yet, but it was so around 2 months ago.

nano blocker is an anti-anti ad blocker, its hard to detect as others.

im running iron, a stripped chromium mode i found years ago, bust still updated.

chrome needed a recode for their api and this broke a few addons.

    Makes sense.
learnt: Ad firms won't love ad blockers

NoScript has made me a lot of trouble on websites I need (and want) to allow scripts. They didn't work even if I disabled NoScript for the Site. Too nervig

@PrettyPurdie Hi. It sounds like the one I accidentally met! I checked the whole system for whatever was changed, and the malware was introduced by way of an extension for Chrome. I, too, had accidentally clicked somewhere I definitely didn't mean to!

I just delated the 'extension' and all went back to normal.

I was using ublock origin with chrome past few weeks. What you are mentioning is fixed i believe. Now using nano adblocker and nano defender combined. No problems yet. I will give nano a long run.
    Thanks for mentioning nano.

I am using now nano adblocker and nano defender. These are two different extensions.
Nano Adblocker is based on Ublock Origin but with pre added a list of custom filters.
Nano Defender is used to hide ublock origin and nano adblock from websites which detects adblockers.

I am not a power user of adblockers. That's why Nano adblocker and Nano defender combo works best for me. Don't know about future.. but now I am using nano.
