can anyone recommend me a good "Mp3-Player" which Plays the Formats
MP3, FLAC, WAV...

because my old one is now out of order......and has played no FLAC FIles

My vote would be VLC, closely followed by foobar. You didn't state requirements, software or hardware

 

For hardware, Astell and Kern make a very nice little box

 

For a seriously large collection, JRiver media center is the only way to go

 

I use foobar 2000 and I'm happy with it.

I've never been disappointed by Sony, on another hand.

 

If you're looking for a program for your PC, I can recommend WinAmp.
I'm using it since 17 years and never found a better player for music.

It plays nearly all formats (also video), has an EQ, nice skins, tons of plugins to (example) load external vst plugins,
nice visualizations, the possibility to play and rip online radio stations, convert & burn music files, etc.



But if you're looking for something more professional, take a look at the Resonic Player, which also acts as sample manager.

 

I used WinAMP for years but it became unstable, now that I see they released version 5.8 I'll try it again BUT I been using XMPlay for a long time now and works great

I have been using Foobar - because of Flac, DSD, ASIO, Milkdrop vis, (big) filelist handling.

Jriver media center is much better, it indexes all my tutorial videos with tags as well as custom flac tags. I have custom tags for sub genre, BPM, key

 

But that's "MediaCenter2400.exe" - not "JRiver Media Jukebox 12.0.534"

Jriver media center 24.0.75 can be found on rutracker. They always release updates, once a 2-3 months or more often.
Imho Media Jukebox is a free little brother of media center. It is like comparing FL Sampler vs HISE, or FL 3xOsc vs SERUM or so. Here is a kind of small player vs media manager/browser with advanced player engine and broadcaster. No?)

 

But are you on about the *free* versions? [I guess not]

 

Cr*kced version. But i dont use it. Tested v19 or 20 but uninstalled. Resonic, aimp and foobar and rarely winamp are totally enough as players. Mostly in daw.
