Regarding my Cubase Bashing post, I was not offended by any differing view point or radical idea, I just wanted to debunk a couple of myths especially the likes of the plugin manager being a anti warez filter. If you search Von Styer and Cubase I think you will find he did quite a bit of Cubase defending himself, how quickly you forget.
My post albeit somewhat more liberal in tone was intended to promote a bit of discussion around Fake News and what is right and wrong to post, but very few of you actually joined in. Perhaps the title was a bit silly, my bad.
But you guys are getting as bad as me longing for the good old days through rose coloured glasses without actually doing anything about it. I’ve been hanging around these forums for over 20 years and only really get involved when I’ve been off work for an extended period and am really bored... but I know they all go through phases of ups and down and people come and go as personal situations dictate. So my advice to you guys is the same as you gave to me and it’s chill the f out. Just try making some posts but try and make it at least a bit factual.

Hey Andrew. You were right when you mentioned this a few months ago and I opposed your view then and I was wrong.
What shall be done about it? you ask.
I have no answer but all I can say is I hope that people on this thread can have an open mind and just chill and be open to other peoples points of view and stop trying to shut other people down if you disagree with their comments.
This is not a political forum and should stay out of reach of these influences.
Politics should be left at the door when you enter this forum. That would give us all more freedom to express our opinions without fear of political retaliation. That is what I think.
