    Hey guys,

I work a 9-5 and frequently download content on my windows work computer and manually transfer the files over later on in the week to my mac via hardrive. This process has become tedious and I'm wondering if there's a solution out there that would allow me to remotely access my mac from my work windows computer and download stuff directly from Audioz to my mac hard-drive? Eliminating the need to manually transfer the files via hard drive.

Any suggestions or solutions are welcome :)

it's not exactly what you ask, but maybe an OBOOM account could help :dunno:.

transfer via the remote upload option and just download once at home.
    good luck.

I'm a windows user, so can only assist you so far...

On your windows box install tightvnc (a nice open source vnc client/server package):
    https://www.tightvnc.com/

Apparently, it can be installed on any OS that uses java, though i note that OSX apparently has hidden built-in VNC capabilities anyway:

...also you'll need to work your way through the vagaries of both your work and home firewall/router setups, which assuredly will keep you busy at your desk (scratching your head and most probably gnashing your teeth) for a few hours at least... but when you finally get it working, you'll be able to securely access/control your home desktop in a dinky resizable window on your work PC

Yes, RealVNC or VNC remote desktop is crazy good for that purpose and many others...

JDownloader will do what you want. Run JDownloader2 on the mac and use myJDownloader to remotely control it from a browser or even better your Android phone using their app MyJDownloader Remote Official in the Google Play app store. Checkout https://my.jdownloader.org.

Interesting. I've used Jdownloader in the past. My only concern is using that in tandem with an unrestricted-downloader like Real-debird. I don't think you can unless you have an account for Ul.to or RG directly. Do you have any experience with this? This seems like a cool idea.
