All Dune Wavetables i had here have been converted to a smaller format
that is now some 30 times smaller than the default size.
Added over 500 free extra w.t. that have also been converted
from 1.50 gb to 63 mb unpacked.

You can if you like remove your full Wavetables folder and replace it with this one
just make sure to back up your default folder first
and that you do not have extra ones added that are missed.
There will be more w.t. converted and added to this over the next few weeks.

Please note if you have two of the same wavetables or dups in your dune 3 folder
dune will give a error that the dup wavetable can-not be found
just found this out today and could be a bug ?
Also after the wavetables are copyed into the right folder start up dune v3
then close it,im not sure if dune reads and wrights what files are added to the folder
and this only works right after a restart.

unrar and copy the Wavetables folder into
    C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Synapse Audio\DUNE 3

    @Olymoon @Nana Banana
We can now use the save any wt in dune v3 to make them smaller
but resaving lots of them in one go is so boring, maybe a few a day is better,
Fould out by chance how good it was when converting and saving the 64 wav
from the fr4ncesco Virus into one wt and it ended up at 256 kb so i resave them all in dune.

Is a great way to save space and wast time, spacetime :lmao:

@Blue far as i can tell you can also use dune v3 to convert any wt or even the Serum wav into a smaller size.
i checked it on a Serum 1 mb wav and it resaved it as a 8 kb wav lol

Got a few more wt to add to the dune pack
and im resorting all the dune presets over the next few weeks
just to make them better to use.
So far ive converted all the v3 presets to work in v2 and also got the v2 presets to load into v3
using fl studios or studio ones browser, because they were first made in v2
they would not load in v3 like this but its sorted now :shalom:

Had to do a fix on the wavetables pack
Apparently there case sensitive when read by dune and i taught
it would make them look better by adding caps to the start of some names while they were been resaved,
Should be fixed now,i also converted and added some free native instruments massive wavetables i found online.

well i bought it as an upgrade from Dune 2 (Mac) several days ago and rate the current version as top of the flops. Mine is buggy as hell (disturbing, never ending reverb-loop which i can only overcome by automating things) plus all of the factory presets sound pretty similar to Dune 2. I regret my 69 Bucks so far. Things may change after bugs beeing fixed and fine, not sooooo silky and creamy 3rd party Presets are out. Factory Presets just sound trancy. Don't missunderstand me. I love trance but trance is out as fuck and you hardly can use more than 1, max. 2 of these sounds within one track without loosing completely a clear statement because of it turning into a hodgepodge with all that delay and heavy reverb going on.

I feel you completely Gwydion. The factory presets are mostly FX drowned trancy one-key=whole-song shit. They certainly made sure to demonstrate the usability of all those layers... in a wrong way.

What I do is sift through that shit to find a diamond in rough. :) Then turn off the FX and trancy-sequenced layers, and have a nice and simple, usable sound. Then tweak it a little to fit the track. That sifting wastes a lot of time.

Or I just make my own preset from scratch. That is usually mucho fun, but it wastes even more time that you should spend on arrangement.

It would be so much better if we got a couple of "workhorse" banks with usable one-two layer sounds, loudness corrected, with only essential FX like chorus, delay, and distortion. Who uses onboard reverbs on VSTis? It's only there for preview and to entertain kids.

I don't know a thing about WT synths but as a geek this seems cool as hell to me.
Hey, Kontakt devs, learn from @momo , this trick make your x2 .ncw format compression look like a dinosaur. Damn it, get back to work on useful things and stop releasing half-assed 6.x synth-like features... :P

Don't know about that but perhaps you write like a thug, damn man make it easier for english beginners like me (see my sig and be merciful) :bleh:

Jokes aside, this Italian cliche is quite true as far as I know. I've an acquaintance from my country who's living in italy for 15 years now, married to an italian. I was quite surprised when she told me about that thing.

And yeah, beware you germans with the Italian music software companies. Acustica Audio (Nebula, Acqua) for instance, they're building a future empire.

What was this thread about again?
