Because of the fact that everything that have to do with making music is completly messed up for me in the moment (nothing works, my room sucks, etc...) and the typical problem I have to deal with in the next days (where will my monitors stay) and the fact that I'll build a little recording studio with a friend, Im just interessted in:
How do your Workspace / Homestudio / Professional Studio? look like?

Maybe send a picture, or make a digital version in Google Sketchup (thats what I did)?
Would be really interessting, not only for me. I think everybody would like to see how others designed their workstation...

Of course I undterstand that not everybody feel comfortable with uploading pictures of his room, or making a digital version with sketchup... Thats okay, nobody have to do nothing. This topic was just an idea I had...

I will also make a picture as soon as everything arrived and positioned correctly... Will properly take a while...

UPD by SAiNT: please don't forget that we have http://mainroom.pro/

My audio space is my living room .

I feel more comfortable here then anywhere in the world to compose.

I dont own super pricey material and hardware but i know how my material sound and how my room react to the sound.

My set up is super simple :

    PC -> Aardvark -> 1972 audio reflex 32 band EQ -> 1972 N.A.D. amplifier -> 1976 Avid model 102 speakers + 2002 JVC SP-MX308K.

My speakers are on the ground ( because of the size of the AVID one ) and my screen is on top of one of them ( the right one on fact.

My couch is placed in front middle of them both so it makes some kind of 60 degree triangle .
My speakers are at 6 foot from me on each side and 6 foot from each other.

    EDIT:
    Oh, and one last thing...
I think the best way to understand how your material realy sound is to test anywhere you can by burning CD's of what you compose and mix.
I use to do that a lot but i dont since a lot of time now.....and in fact i should start back to see whats my common error ( too much Kick was my usual problem )

I do that, too. Its always clever to listen to your mix on as many speakers as you can...
And I have the same problem with the kick  Maybe I wont do it when I use my new monitors for producing??

yes, i think you are right about the new monitors, i rememeber producing tracks a while back on 8 inch monitors and in fact the problem was almost solved.....maybe there is a lack of definition in Big speakers compared to monitors.
