This is my first dubstep(correct me if it is ). Hope you guyz like it. Honest feedback welcomed.

it does sound like dubstep mate. like 140 half time. really cool tune but you need to work on your mix down. kicks and snares are nice and punchy but i cant really hear the bass coz its drowned by the melody. best thing is drag a dubstep tune that you like into your daw copy the arrangement and a/b with your own track. im talking well produced here --- noisia, culprate etc

Really like the melody and atmosphere the track has, but i agree with above kinda hard to hear the bass in the mix. Great first track nonetheless!

 

Man that is great idea never thought about it.Do i need to do same thing with the base?

 

For this dubstep i emphasize on melody rather than bass.Thanks man next time will focus on nasty bass. hahaha

 

generally you want to look at the slopes on the spectrum analyzer and compare with yours. it should serve as a mixing guide. also not sure if you are dubstepforum.com or not. there is a tonne of info on there from people that share the same interest as yourself. check out the production section.
