Pretty much what the title says. I'm having a lot of trouble finding libraries on the internet. Google search became so useless, it's almost impossible to find anything, and the more specific you're, the less relevant the results will be. Right now I'm looking for dark Jazzy piano and the only kind of relevant thing I've found after going through 200 results on google is Synthogy Ivory 2 Upright (and it's not even for Kontakt), which is ridiculous because there're hundreds of piano libraries out there and I can't find any. Is there any site that lists and categorises them or something similar?

1. you can search with duckduckgo, it's better & safer than google search and lists warez too

2. search by category on certain torrent sites (i.e., rutracker, audionews, etc.)

3. search audioz and select 'Kontakt Libraries' as a category

4. search audioz using duckduckgo - this option appears after clicking the magnifying glass or after a search

hope this helps as a starting point

 

I'm sorry that it was not clear. I'm not asking for warez, I'm looking for a better way to find legit libraries because google is just not a good search engine anymore.

Not sure if there have been many kontakt piano libs with jazz added in the name
but there are a few other ways to search that could help.
Look up some jazz piano players on the web and see what piano's they liked them selfs or if they could have it,
most times they are poor and will play what ever they can get ta practice on do.
Also try out pianoteq stage vsti its very small and has lots of very good piano presets
that will get you up and running in 10 min.
The Bardstown Bosendorfer Imperial Grand for kontakt is just over 2 gb and is good fun ta try out as well
is from 2004 and still rocking or should i say swing.

the steps I mentioned can actually work well for finding ideas/inspiration for which legitimate libraries to buy, I do this often myself

youtube is really good for a quick preview of libraries too - find jazz arrangers and watch their videos, learn from their workflow. it's all about the sound after all

As for Swing by Project Sam, it's not really what I'm looking for, it's to broad and I want just a dedicated piano library where everything went into sampling just one instrument. My go to piano right now is Hans Zimmer Piano by Spitfire Audio, 200 gigs of 15 or so different microphones makes it very customisable and versatile, which is why I love it. It's great for pretty much everything but now that I need the sound of cheap piano recorded in someone's apartment, it just can't do it.

...as for useful they are for jazz - that's up to you.

 

I also found that one piano library is not enough, and many pianos need FX applied to match the sound of the whole arrangement. Could be EQ, could be reverb, could be an IR reverb with more exotic imulses from whatever location and microphone position.
Looks like you're out for an upright piano, there's a good choice of them, try to include the keywords "upright" plus "old, broken, fire, granny, honky" if you like something more exotic.
I learned to love duckduckgo for its privacy-respecting and sometimes better search results. Google today tends to list more "proxy" sites that only claim to hold the information you're looking for because they're providing the right keywords but not the content.
I also get completely unrelated results at times.
