    Hi Audiosexers,
if you're proud owner of 0404 USB and are having serious pains about trying to get it to work on Windows 7 x64, as I did with the beta driver, just install the older Vista/XP driver for Tracker Pre.

Many won't experience issues with beta driver, as few are driving their CPU to 100%, that's where problems start - IRQ-related bluescreens and random DAW freezing, even if the interface isn't used (just having the driver in the memory)

For a while I thought the was no solution, then by accident I installed the archaic Vista driver from 2007, and it works like charm!

Yep, it's old and meant for different OS, but it doesn't matter as long as it works fine.

Great card! My music partner was using a 1820m since 2004. The input & output connectivity was awesome, and the latency still held up. However, we upgraded him to 8700k, ASUS MAXIMUS X HERO w/ no PCI slots. So, we bought a BABYFACE PRO. The system is rock solid w WIN 10 LTSB.

I wish there was a similar solution for the 1212M under Win 10.

Did you know that 0404 USB support is available on distributions for the Raspberry Pi?
The Raspi is so small that it fits inside the box (!) and I've seen guys using it as a guitar amp sim, a looper and an FX processor
Using WiFi, you could even edit stuff remotely.
