Hi guys, I've recently reinstalled Serum on my pc (cuz I've formatted it) but every time that I try to open an old project I've got the error: "Serum was unable to load..." but he's giving me a "strange" path... like Noises// or Tables//
I can't even load presets...
How can I fix it? :/

(I'm using Serum 1.205 and Ableton 10.0.5)

Serum says you don't have the requested noise or wavetable file.
The serum's noise file location is: C\users\documents\XFer\Serum Presets\Noises

Check if your C\users\documents\XFer folder is not a shortcut,because if it's a shortcut Serum won't work properly.

Or you can try to click on the "Menu" button and click on "Rescan folders on disk".

 

I've checked if my xfer folder is a shortcut and it is not. I've clicked on the "Rescan folders on disk" button but nothing has changed.

EDIT: I've clicked on the "Show Serum Presets Folder" button and it shows the right folder in which I have the tables and the noises presets so I don't think is a problem with the folder :/.

rather his path use yours it located in analog in your case
if it not works relocated the Serum path in the menu !

 

I've already tried that but haven't solved yet.
I can load noises while creating a new preset but if I try to save the preset and open it Serum can not find the noise.
I don't know why serum gives me the path "Noises//Analog/ARP white.wav"
instead of "C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Xfer\Serum Presets\Noises/Analog/ARP white.wav"

FIXED: I've installed a newer version (1.2.1 b4) and it fixed the error. Thanks to everyone which has replied

I am assuming these are bought versions as I am stuck on version 1.13 ... or am I missing out because I don't do torrentz?
Glad to hear it is fixed, but I wonder what was wrong with 1.205 ... or maybe just a glitch during install?
That is why I wondered if it was a package straight from the developer
