HELP NEEDED: Creating a Kontakt Drum Kit

I'd like to do is transform a folder of vintage WAVs (carefully sampled, well organized, and ready to go) into a Kontakt drum kit.

    • It's a simple kit (kick, snare, hi tom, low tom, hat, ride, crash).
    • 8 velocities on each
    • It'd be cool if the open hat was closed with the attack of the closed hat.
    • It'd also be groovy if I could use a little image of the kit instead of the generic Kontakt one (I have the image ;-).

Any suggestions, advice, steps, or good links to guide me through this?

Changed initial plea for help. I'm going to give it a go, but need help . . . Thanks in advance.

This is some next level stuff right here, a great way to make vocal chops from what I understand. In Ableton this is easily done though so I haven't tried it in Kontakt yet but am curious also. I guess you got your setup running again?

Sadly, nope. But I'm hoping to borrow a Mac at some point or get one. Trying to plan. I initially wrote this as a plea for someone to help me map out the drums, but no luck. Luckily, I did find someone to help me with the noise removal. ;-)
