They can't sell to foreigners because how could they sell something to a guy having been born in a country they are actually bombing or killing innocent people? I mean, get a brain...

Is that legal in the US? In Denmark, customers has the right to buy a product for the price advertised. If a company accidentally advertises iPhones for a dollar, by accident or not, they will be forced to sell it at that price to the customers who went to the casheer or otherwise attempted to purchase.

This is what they have on their website in small prints of course https://www.musiciansfriend.com/

If I was you I will contact Softube directly and explain what took place and ask them if they are willing to make an exception honor that price. If they dont want to do it just grab it from sister site if it is available.

If one have proof he or she have attempted to order it (otherwise anyone can claim so), it would be idiotic not to. It's software. They have already written it, and they can copy it infinitely. It doesn't cost anything.

Edit > received already an answer, they can't help unfortunately.

  12. You bought it and they broke the contract. If you had bought something that you could hold in your hand, you would have walked out of the store without an issue. Here in Switzerland the advertised price must be honored...it seems that Musician's Friend is not neither friendly nor an honorable establishment to not honor their published price. Oops is lame. It is up to them to deal with Softube, not for the customer to need to. This is not the 1st time I have heard issues like this from them.

This site has come up several times in black friday deal listings and every time I took a look at it I felt like "this is bogus"... The link now leads to a different product too. If neither plugindiscounts nor pluginboutique can provide such killer deals, why should a unknown and scammy looking site like musicians friend be able to pull this off? :D

@studio-view I found this article. It may shed some light on the situation.
When an e-commerce website has had an incorrect price entered into its database, it can end up not only advertising that price but also accepting orders and charging customers' credit cards for that amount. The central issue here is whether retailers can void the contract created when orders were accepted. The easiest way for a company to deal with such situations is to have website "terms of use" that clearly state the company can cancel orders and refund customers' money because of pricing errors (or for any reason). Otherwise, a common law doctrine known as "unilateral mistake of fact" applies. This doctrine allows a party to a contract to set aside the contract if honoring it would be "unconscionable," or if the other party could have reasonably assumed it was a mistake. A $1,000 item advertised for $10 likely would meet this definition. https://smallbusiness.chron.com/company-advertising-price-wrong-responsible-mistake-73117.html

In regular brick and mortar stores in the US, they're supposed to by law honor what the price on the items tag says. Online stores don't apply. Probably because its a system that's easily fuckupable mistake-wise.

I kept on clicking to buy that Summit Grand Channel. Sometimes it would take me to the product page with the $19.99 price, then I click again and it'll say $299. When I got the $19.99 page and added to cart, the cart would show $299. Big fukkup really. Wish $19 were so but alas not.

Audiodeluxe had it for $135 iirc. Considering what other vendors had it on sale for, one had to figure it was a mistake. $19? Really? Lol

Curious a to why being anywhere on the planet is an obstacle for electronic distribution, unless it being maybe based on a particular software companies distribution/pricing structure
