i saw a band a few years back that only played covers but they made 'm all in maj, under the bridge, nothing else matters and many others, it was both brilliant and awesome to hear those songs in a totally different way yet still the same

Autotonic seems to be able to transform black keys too, as this video shows.. wait no, I think he means you should transpose it first to Cmaj.

When using Scaler: In section A: click on Scales and select Cmin from the list. Then click on "scale lock" in the upper right corner -> now it only plays notes from Cmin.

Then route it to the MIDI in Channel from the instrument of your choice.

Studio One's Chord Track would allow this, not sure if it's possible in FL Studio aside from editing the midi data.

Would be really cool if FL had a Chord Track . Sadly it doesn't and I doubt a lot that it will ever get one. You can use scale highlighting in FL for better orientation while programming the "changes" in, thats all you get.

Sorry for the delay, just had myself a little siesta. This is a feature called snap to key, and it is build into Reaper's pianoroll. It allows you to transpose notes up and down, while snapping to a certain scale. To change, for instance, a chord progression, from minor to major, you would just enable it, tell it to snap to major, and then transpose up and then just back down again. Easy as can be.

I believe logic also has a function like this called ‘quantise scale’? So these type of functions is the same as reharmonize? Or is this mechanic something else?

    Thank

It's exactly the same. I don't think Reaper allows you to create a custom scale though.

Sometime changing key can be hilarious (this Oleg Berg is a master in doing that):

in cubase you can select "all note E events" since atari times, then transpose it using the arrow keys. quick and dirty.

but for many tracks and channels and for 10 minutes length you are probably better off with a procedural midieditor like midish and some other tool whose name i cant recall now.

personally i´d do it in a programming language.

Traditionally, 3 ways to do it on paper. By number, interval, or key signature.

CM to Cm, is a parallel key change. Just change key sig to Cm (relative EbM), 3 flats, in a score view.
