I use the "demixer" fonction too, take some acapella or instrumental part to made some edit for my DJ set, they really made a great thing with this. It's so much more efficient than doing the phase cancelation thing with acappela/original versions. Sometime there is some glitch but still a good alternative to have an acapella that doesn't exist. I use it also sometime to isolate a music sample from the rest of the song. I'm still on a discover step on it, but it's really inspiring to work on new sample technique, it's like cutting vertically instead of horizontally, if that even make sence :)

For your mashup, the voice have some artefact that are easily audible even with the other instrumental, maybe try to put some fx on the voice, like reverb/delay. Some dessing can help to reduce some harsh frequencies create by the RX process (you can even do that in RX directly, try the automatic tool to see what it suggest, it can clean a little more sometime

yeah..... I could probably remove all the artifacts in melodyne but I just dont have the time..."easily audible" is fine with me. not going for any kind of sanitized perfection here. just having fun with the new game. ;)

Jeez. At least try to mash two songs (or several) in the same key and same tempo (stretched or not). :)
    Keep it up.

Wait... I just uninstalled RX6 and installed RX7 because I did not find the "demixer" function.
    What is it? Deconstruct?

They call this "music rebalance", it's at the bottom right, betwen mouth de-click and spectral rebalance

the demixer is the best one-click solution i have heard. definitely a good step to take (along with others) when extracting elements

The last one sounds better already.
Please do at least some melodyne work to make the vocal line match harmonically ...
