Well, so I "successfully" completed the installation process for such release, but nothing is showing up in my plugin scans. More precisely StudioOne shows up nothing, FLStudio20 and AbletonLive10 only show a Waveshell that, when loaded, does nothing. Someone has been through this before and is willing to help me out? I really am clueless on how to solve this right now.

seems you got unlucky, from time to time, it happens Waves get screwed up (it has nothing to do with crack/activation, happens with genuine versions, various products, bundles etc..),
if you can afford to completely reinstall Waves, then you should get your stuff running properly,

here is complete procedure explained, follow ALL the steps thoroughly:
    https://www.pro-tools-pc.com/how-to-perform-a-clean-uninstall-of-waves-plugins/

if you aren't on Windows, then here's a brief guide for Mac users:

    hope it helps :)

uninstall, and manually delete all waves plugins and folders.
C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns delete all waves plugins
C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves delete this folder

If the waves folder is not in C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves find it and delete it

Open your DAW rescan plugins then close it, in Ableton a deep-scan is holding Alt button in while pressing the rescan button in preferences
    Then close you're DAW

Reinstall Waves be sure the waves folder is installed in C:\Program Files (x86), if the waves don't install in this directory find another Waves crack
This particular R2R crack you does not need the waves sentral

Well, I uninstalled everything then reinstalled to no avail. Same thing: Only a WaveShell plugin which, when loaded, has only 1 "Dummy" parameter and does basically nothing.

Done everything you said. The problem is still there.

What you mean with "Window and DAW updated"? They perfectly work no matter what I have installed during my carreer. I wanted to try out these Waves plugs, uninstalled my last version, cleaned up, installed this new version, and only that Dummy Waveshell loads up. BTW My plugin folder is *Main Drive*:\Program Files(x86)\VstPlugins

I have similar issue with Waves only with Studio One 4 release. I have the same problems with Image Line and Korg plugins, all from the same team... I downloaded the full 30 days demo from Presonus and all work like a charm... I know the Studio One 4 from team have internal internet blocking system in Windows, on Mac require add some lines to the Host file, maybe these are the issue with some plugins during scanning.

so you use the 32 bit version I guess, I use 64 bit version (C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns is the standard 64 bit folder). You are sure that you deleted the plugins before you reinstalled? When I had that empty shell problem it was because I had old waves plugins and folders laying around. And I manually had to delete all waves related files. Did you uninstall you're old waves from the Waves Central? If you did not uninstall the version you have now, reinstall the old version from Waves Central, then uninstall it from Waves Central. Then manually delete all waves files that you find when you search Waves in Main Drive. Then rescann DAW, the reinstall waves again. By the way can you take a screenshot of how it looks like in Ableton?

If that does not work my guess is that you're Windows version is to old and that you are missing a Windows Visual C++.

Ok, I had deleted everything but I hadn't cleaned the Registry. Cleaned manually all the registry entries related to Waves products and now I can load and use all my new Waves vsts. Funnily enough tho, now my DAWs all crash whenever I try to load any Arturia ( both synths and effects ) VST. I only touched Waves-related registry entries and only deleted files in the Waves folder, so I'm sure I didn't delete any potential common file. WTF is going on lol
