Im a legit Kontakt user for many years and I´ve preordered Kontakt 6, so.....

Im running Kontakt 5 now and I really want to keep it. So will I be able to have both 5 and 6 installed on the same computer?

Im a little scared the install of Kontakt 6 will overwite version 5.

Any experience, good advises etc???????

Edit: Took the chance...... I have both V5 & V6 on my computer!

I cant be sure, but until now it was possible to keep 2 versions side by side.
But given the new protection, they may have done this impossible for V6.

If you have more than one computer or more than one system installed, you should do a test on one you dont matter installing v5 , then v6 and see what happens before taking any risk with you important computer.

Installing new questionable soft is always good idea to do in VM or sandboxie.

Wasn´t an issue this time but in general I guees you´re right

The three new libs that comes with Kontakt6 isn´t really interesting, but the Creator Tools seems cool!

Should be no issue. K 5 can be installed in several different places at once at the same time even different versions as we know so I think we will be fine.
