2 Chord Instrumental

    Something Up Ahead (Instrumental)
    A wee tune I made a few years ago containing only two chords.

    Nice gentle track, sounds a bit like old style folk music. Are you sure there are only 2 chords (I guess you are if you wrote it :)) but it sounded like more to me, not that it matters as I'm no expert.

    Sounds good! There's three chords when charted out, the bassline implies the root of the third.

    Yeah honestly there are just two chords but the melody and notes wrapped around the chords make it seem like more. Cheers.
    Listen to the picked acoustic! It repeats the same refrain throughout the track.

    Yeah it does sound that way but if you listen to the picked guitar you will notice that it's the same repeating refrain throughout.

    I listened to the picked guitar, I transcribed it and charted it all out. There's three distinct chords.

    The tune is a few years old and my memory tells me it was a two chord riff. Our memory isnt always that dependable so ok its prob a three chord riff!
