I think some times enough is enough. Lots of wasted energy here lately..

 

It should always be about enjoying what you're doing while forgetting about any expectations. From the bedroom producer to the big-time producer - it's the same passion.

His own choice and all things considered I do not blame him. Ask the administrators.

He didn't make a thread about his decision, but you do ... I wonder what is your goal.

Anyway, if you want to know his reason, you could simply send him a PM and ask him ...

 

Obviously he's currently pending deletion, so sending a pm would be useless as he wouldn't see it unless he logged in again.

What's with the casting aspersions? Makes you look quite defensive. You said he made the decision to leave himself, so you must know details we don't, thus it's a valid question.
How you get 'what's your goal' from "What the? Hope you change your mind, mate." is curious at the very least.

I made the thread because he's a valued member here, and like many, I guess, think it's a shame he's leaving. No motive other than concern for a knowledgeable guy and losing him from the forum, especially after the recent mass board love in directed his way.

Is that okay?

I think an amount of money should be allotted that everyone gives the best and the most satisfactory answer or gets the topmost rating during that week or month be paid. In this case, no one would leave and the answers would be more thought-out.

@Olymoon do you know some philanthropists here to bail this forum out ? Could you please correspond with them? Please......

 

...and I am still wondering what motivated Von Steyr to leave too. We will never know I guess.
