Someone, thanks for taking the time to make us more attentive. I can see now, i was treating this too lightly on the first glance.
There is actually more behind than i thought.

Amsterdam Pirate, you are on Mac too. Here's what i did:

    1. Firefox Extension "NoScript" has been mentioned in the video. There is a similar extension available for Safari. Grab this "JavaScriptBlocker" here : https://extensions.apple.com
Once installed, i tested my uniqueness again. No change. Next Step:
    2. Open JavaScriptBlocker settings in your Browser Toolbar and set "automatically block scripts from anywhere".
Second check: now there are at least 104,000 computers having the same configuration.

Ok, i came back here to write this down and first of all i clicked on Someone's "Thanks" button. Didn't work. Smiley's didn't work and some more.....

    3. Again click on the JavascriptBlocker button in your toolbar and allow scripts from audiosex.pro. Ready.

I am sure you can do even more, but i spent enough time for today with this.
I want to do the "SirSillySausageUniquenessTest" now. That means, i will ask my wife, how unique i am. Let's see, what kind of answer i get.
If she is the opinion, there are millions of other men like me, i have to check my settings and take an unblocker.

For anyone interested a website can uniquely identify you simply by the add-ons that you have installed in your browser. Practically nobody has the exact same setup so it makes identification simple particularly if you add other information gleaned from the system and browser settings. By polling openly displayed data it builds a profile on you and data is everywhere for the taking. Remember the scumbags employing these techniques are nothing if not persistent. In this day and age you have to step up to mitigate the dangers of the net. Call it life in the 21st century. You have to get proactive. A good place to start is a security suite and keeping your software up to date to close any open gaps. This is a good baseline from which to employ further techniques.

Concerning any software advice I can certainly suggest script blockers such as NoScript, a good adblocker like Adblock Plus (also Adblock Popup Blocker is a nice addition) coupled with DoNotTrackMe for keeping the advertising companies from tracking your every move. It blocks companies including Google Analytics, DoubleClick, etc. Once you install and click on the button it creates in Firefox you can also click a button in the popup that says MaskMe which is a service for securing your e-mail address when you sign up at a site. I haven't looked into it too deep but I think it basically creates a temp mailbox that you can have forward mail to your real e-mail address. If at anytime you choose to stop receiving e-mail from a particular website you can hit a button and it's not longer forwarded. It's still in Beta but the add-on looks very promising.

I can personally vouch for the Electronic Frontier Foundation. They are one of the organizations that fight for your freedoms everyday. I suggest that everyone take an interest because now their mission is more important than ever. Anyway that's my two cents and I hope you've found my post helpful in getting a better understanding of things and keeping the annoyances of net use at bay.
