Hm.....I think, there would be a bigger chance of success. when the timing would be ok and if you would use instruments, that play in the same key as her vocals... :guitarhero: Sorry, but that doesn't sound very professional, to be honest.

I listened to this a couple times. I might start the song with the percussion and clap (the drop to lite percussive beat at :30 kind of drops the momentum down,) and build it up heavier, adding more percussive elements until 1:10 and drop everything during "we're beautiful like diamonds in the sky," and then have the drums kick in there (as you do.) It just feels too up and down with the drums and lite beat going back and forth. The drop back to the lighter beat at 1:33 works well, and I like the fact you have fills in the track, which many people seem to forget about nowadays. The part at 2:21 with just the drums and guitar backing her is a nice touch but it might give it a bit more flow if you drug that out for a bit longer. Also, it might lends some more oomph to the song if you had everything palying at once at the end, guitar, etc. as it fades out. So, maybe spend some time fitting in some progressively building percussive elements.
These are all, obviously, just my opinions, and more ideas about cohesiveness and arrangement than an actual critique. My musical sensibilities are far more geared towards more complex arrangements that you find in some Soul or old Funk as opposed to the stripped down Pop music that is all over the radio, so the percussion being added to make the track more interesting comes from that there. :)
The main thing I would consider changing is the balance between the heavy and lite rhythmic switches. All in all, not a bad track.

    Nicely done...

The drums could use a little shift in timing to make them more groovy... Maybe add more swing? Also, the hihat hits are too loud.

And perhaps adjust levels of the different layers so they dont compete with each other but rather complement each other.

    Thanks for sharing...

Thank you Kinghtsurfer I'm going to uses FL Studio to Master & Mix the track, as for the drums I used Redrum from Reason but on my next mix I'm going to uses Native Instruments Battery maybe an oldskool kit or something along them lines I have alot of work to do on the track but not a bad place to start from I'm staying away from the boring sad funeral piano classic mainstream hip-hop crap we are getting feed lately I like my music to be very happy.

That's not a bad thing, straying from what's populating the charts. That's one of the many things that I miss about '90s Hip Hop, you hadgroups with darker or more brooding tracks like Mobb Deep but you also had a lot of groups/artists doing some more upbeat tracks that still killed it, like ATCQ "Award Tour" or a lot of Camp Lo's stuff. I don't see that diversity as much anymore, though there are some people keeping it alive. Also, though the guy has fully lost his shit, Kanye's early albums in the '00s had a very upbeat, 90's vybe to them as well.
(I have to give Afu-Ra a nod as well; even though this track is technically has a lot of minor elements, it still has an upbeat vybe.)
