I have to agree. I already own Komplete 11 and most of the expansions for Maschine so I'll probably skip the upgrade.

 

thinking a bit about s88 kontrol mk2 . . . not that I'm using mk1 entirely all that much

I haven't bought any of the recent plugins from Native Instruments as I had a feeling Komplete 12 was due. I'm gonna hold out until Black Friday sales, I am currently on Komplete 8, but if I can afford it and if the Black Friday sales half the price of the upgrade I'd be very tempted to upgrade to Ultimate 12. For me there is a decent amount of incentive to do go for it. And I am sure they will drip feed us with teasers for MASSIVE X lol that name haha.

I wonder if this one will also boast some of the amazing features of its predecessor; like a fixed, non-scalable GUI, and a plethora of criminally past due updates...

 

Lets hope we can run it along side kontakt 5 (Atleast until we know all our libraries will work)

 

That's my concern. Kontakt 6 may have a whole new set of "under the hood" architecture changes that will require an update to all libraries. Personally, I'm not that concerned since I have everything I need with the latest V5 Kontakt.

This is not a breakthrough. There a many wavetable hybrid synths on the market.
