It's part of Abbey Road but just listed as Reel ADT

Not exactly an answer to your question, but a link that @superliquidsunshine sent me once regarding a thickening trick which does widen the vocal...

Exactly which version of Waves do you have? It's been part of the Complete/Abbey Road bundle for a while now, since the latter days of v9. I definitely have it with Waves v10, but I've had it on previous versions of v9, as well. If you don't have it, you either have a pretty old version of Waves or you didn't install it when installing the rest of the bundle. If you do have it, it shows up as "Reel ADT" (in several different incarnations, like "m to s" and so on) in your plugin list.

I'm still using a version of Waves from back in 2014, and that has Reel ADT with it.

I've also used this one (freeware):

Don't know how it stacks up against the Waves one.
Really, the best widening you can do for a vocal is to get the singer to record another take, but the timing has to really be on point. This is how I manage ultra wide guitars.

Yeah, I can't actually remember how long it's been around. The OP may have just not installed it, or doesn't have a full install package.

Sonnox just put out a couple of ADT-type plugs, too.
