this is such a beautiful song on a korg R3. which always sticked in my head. since almost 9 years now. its so simple and even bad sounds but it has something that keeps sticking . the lofi quality to it , makes it great and pure

 

later he redid it on a vp770. with far better sounds, but maybe missed a bit the feeling

ms2000 and cs15 will be the most expensive synth i want to get in later future
cs15 has resonance also in low end....the only one i have read

 

its a sampler but its great demo....from the 90ies....and its a teremin too...no shit

you can upgrade memory....and you can use akai compatibel card drives as zip drive replacement cause zip drive runs all the time...

32 meg chip = 6 minutes = $200

My Kurzweil 2500 XS in 1996 had 4x16 megs of RAM which cost...way too much. When zip drives for backup came out it was amazing to not have to use floppys. It was so very modern!

My first synth...an ESQ-1. I think that I bought it for $1200 at the Sam Ash in Forest Hills, Queens, NYC IN 1986. It was either the Ensonique or the DX7. I got the ESQ-1 because of the sequencer.
