Especially one that has the ability to write key info to ID3 tags and can process REX/REX2 files (IMO it's the best format for loops) but neither is absolutely necessary.

It can't be Iced Audios Audiofinder since I'm not on a Mac and also since Mixed In Key requires you to be online don't really much care for that either.

Any recommends would be helpful. Thanks =)

 

Not necessarily trying to bump my own thread but...

In all honesty what I'd really like to try out Iced Audio's - Audio Finder, from what I understand it's exactly what I want and truth be told have wanted for quite sometime. I keep searching for a Window's equivalent and keep running into a brickwalls or things way out of my budget.

What I'm curious about is if anyone that has installed it in VirtualBox (or any other VM software) and has gotten the drag and drop type stuff to work, especially inter-app. How'd you set that up?

Also, maybe I'm a total dumb ass for asking this but is it possible to share a soundcard between OS's using a multi-client ASIO driver?

Yeah I've tried keyfinder, it's alright. I've been able to use traktor's built in keyfinder to write key information in the meta data for samples but it's definitely not ideal to use as a sample browser.

 

Mixed In Key? Probably not Ideal for sample browsing tho.

Given that objects are just maps, or dicts depending on your language, there is little to no reason why you would do this. THAT BEING SAID, Generally, the order that they are injected into a map is in fact the order they reside when stringifying.

Thumbs up for Revel Breezer. I dont think you are able to detect key wit Mutant or Charly Beck's which was one of the OP's requirements. One thing about Revel. It is a CPU killer 32bit App.

I've been using Breezer quite a long time, but since the 1803 update from mikesoft, it crashes or freeze for no reason.
And it's no more updated since 2013 I believe.
