    Hi, very strange:
I started Sam Pro X3 and wanted to record a VSTi, but it's not recording.
I can play and hear the instrument. I've checked the settings a couple time, but coudn't find anything which would solve the problem.
I tested in Reaper which is fine, so no issue with the MIDI Keyboard.

What do I miss?? I have no clue..hope someone can help me out here! Thanks :)

    Hi!
Have you tried to freeze the track that holds the MIDI data you have recorded from your keyboard? It's one great way to change MIDI data into audio... and this process can be reversed too. Another way is to bounce the track using the "Bounce" submenu in the "File menu".

Samplitude is a gem, but I suggest you spend some time reading the manual.

You can also check out the excellent Samplitude Video tutorials by Kraznet on YouTube and/or go to Samplitude forum site. Lots of nice and friendly folks there!

Could you post a screenshot of your session, like the way it is when you start recording ? I never had this problem, I don't really get how it can occur if you can hear your instrument when you play it, if you arm recorded your track you should be able to record it...Other than a mistake when you start recording, it can be a problem in your preferences (drivers, midi settings ?) or maybe recording mode....I don't really see what else could rise the issue you're having....

When you arm a midi track for recording, right click to see the options you have for recording as in pic#2

Thank you all! Today all works as it should. I have nothing changed (or did I..?? No I didn't!! :p). I just opened Samplitude as I used to do and it works again. Strange: when I had the issue with the recording, I shut the PC down and it didn't help, but now - 2 days later - it works.

Thanks again for the effort to help me and maybe it helped in a way, who knows... :thanks:
    Have a great weekend!

Sometimes you just need to threaten your computer with some people who are in the know and everything starts working. I experienced this myself. [IMG]

Considering it's now been proven that Google listens in on your conversations picked up by your laptop mic, and with the privacy abomination that is Winblows 10, you're right about this 100%.
