I didn't think we'll ever see a follow up of this one. First edition was really great, might try the new one. I'm very hesitant though seeing how FXPansion treats some of its products. Upgrade is possible at a reduced price for owners of the first one...Anyway. Links and details are as follow :

I have Strobe2 and i enjoy it but I'll pass on this. Really nothing special.

Waiting for Andy (Cytomic) to release his synth.. It'll be on a whole new level

 

I don't think it will be on a whole new level in terms of sound design or have the same sonic capabilities of Cypher 2... but if you're looking for a analog modelled vst synth, it will probably be the best one on the market

Andy (Cytomic) - "Analog modelled oscillators with simultaneous oscillator outputs and audio rate modulation of frequency and shape. It will be pretty standard in structure: osc, lfo, env, amp, drive, etc, but each section will have some very cool and unique twists. I want this to be a one stop shop that is quick and easy to do regular subtractive sounds, but also powerful enough to tackle crazy modular workflows."
