So, I downloaded one item from Rapidgator about six hours ago--which is the only one from them in the last twenty-four hours--and now it keeps telling me that I can't download anything because I can only download one file at a time. I cleared all remnants of the last download, shut down my browser, restarted my computer and cleared everything again (even though all traces of the file were already gone,) but it keeps telling me the same thing.
I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and if anyone had any ideas or info.

Update: I went back to try it again and the One File At A Time notice was gone, but as soon as I passed the captcha and clicked on the final "OK" button in the download box, the download immediately failed. It is now back to One File At A Time.

Did you try cleaning the cache of your browser?

  7. After my current subscription to RG ends in August I am getting out of Dodge and relocating to Real-Debrid as fast as my fingers can type me there. RG gas slowed from when I first used them and now when I attempt parallel downloads many times one of them one or more lanes will stall out, and as well the speed begins a slow crawl like the data is trying to swim through molasses. Nothing against molasses!

There's always the classic (free) method of making & using an Oboom acct. Which is kinda cheating, but avoids captchas. And throttling. And paying. It does mean a bit of faffing around, but it goes like: create Oboom acct. Upload (using "remote") ul / rg / whatev links to it. (staying logged in) download multiple links @ full speed. Ish. The "uploads" are often instant. Downloads sometimes limited to ~1MB/s each. But anyway, it's mostly worth doing, esp for big sample libs! And is free.

Try to refresh the (dynamic) IP from your computer by rebooting your modem.
When your computer has a static IP this won't work.

Yeah, I cleared everything, restarted, destroyed any rebellious 1s & 0s, etc.; thanks for the input though.

I have a static IP, but good looking out. I wouldn't have thought of that.

I think that I'm just going to have to go the oboom route--temporarily--even though I'm not a fan, and check out Real-Debrid in the meantime.
(I keep reading it as Real Madrid because one of buddies is a soccer fanatic. :))

Thanks to everyone for all of the input. I'm shutting this one down. :shalom:
