WAVES announce GEQ Plug-in. NAMM 2013

    NAMM SHOW, ANAHEIM, CA, January 24, 2013 — Waves Audio (booth 6824) introduces its GEQ graphic equalizer plugin. Developed primarily for live users (but sure to find a home in the studio as well), GEQ features selectable cut and boost at 1/3 octave intervals, using two unique filter types.

    GEQ Features

    Classic component with proportional Q
    Modern component with independent non-interactive filter types
    30 ISO bands
    6 dB, 12 dB, 18 dB selectable cut & boost
    Independent HPF, LPF and a parametric bell per side
    Zero latency
    2 input RTA with external input options
    RTA input difference mode with auto-suggest function
    Link L/R
    Touch Support with Fader Draw functionality

    Nice another great plugin to look forward to Looks great for Mastering i wonder when it will be re-lest cant find any thing on there site

    LOL, if you need an 30band eq for mastering "at home", you did a terrible mixing job before!!

    As it says, it's made for live performances where you need such eqs. Usually you never need 30bands in your studio / daw!

    i master other people's stuff thats why i can use this you would not believe what some people bring me :wink:

    i hope the Manny Marroquin Signature Series Collection is more CPU friendly then the Jack Joseph Puig :wink:

    i know some times i cant do any thing with there Mix and they don't want to Pay me to Mix it so they end up trying to do it there self and all they get is crap'' :rofl:

    you must really be a great mastering guru if you use 30 band for mastering. :rofl:

    For mastering you only need: high pass, low shelf, parametric mid, parametric mid, high shelf, low pass. In that order. Great quality, best linear phase ones. Or a graphic EQ with broad bands and just a few of it e.g. 8 or something. 30 band EQ for mastering? LOL Good luck with adjusting it for every song.

    I'm good with API-560, if I need a GEQ.

    i just was watching a youtube video of wave Namm 2013 that ends today i think one of the guy's from Waves slipped up and said that the new plugins are going to be re-lest next Week cant wait
