Hello, i've got two headphones and I like to switch between them easily while making music. My soundcard is an Audient iD 22 with only 1 headphones exit. There is any cheap but also good headphone "switcher" or splitting exit?
    What u recommend?
    Thanks!

For 6.5mm jack can splitters you'd probably end up with something like the one @digitaldragon mentioned, I know there's a Behringer but
    couldn't find it just now.
I don't think 24Euros is very expensive for the Nobsound though. Just get some adapter plugs like so:

Those are Neutriks but you get the idea.

I think you meant Behringer Microamp:

I don't know the Behringer but I never found a cheap headphone amp with at least fair quality.
It makes no sense to me buying a great pair of headphones for the studio and destroy the sound with a cheap preamp/amp.

Passive, you need a switch like @Chiari Golden recommended not a split. With a splitter, you lose signal strength. The ID 22 has a usable headphone amp. Get a passive switch (cheap) or an active high-quality headphone amp (expensive) that is better than your id 22 amp. Stay away from cheap headphone amps.

You could easily build a high-quality d.i.y. switch for a view bucks. all you need is a dpdt switch ...

    something like this i.e. ...

I had one of these before the Samson, and the one I had sucked. No headroom at all before it broke up.
And I'm not normally a Behringer hater. Just have to be careful what you get from them. Can't blindly buy something without testing it first.
But if you don't work too loud or aren't using it for tracking, it might be OK.

While my previous post needs approval since it contains the link of where I bought :disco: here is the image:

Simple, cheap yet weirdly effective. You can use this setup for the rest of your life by changing the cable to silver if needed. You can even make this for balanced cables! pretty sweet and always reliable.

Compare the specs of it with the audient headphone amp. :winker: ...not sure it is worth it. Only to be able to use the second pair of headphones. If you use it for more applications it is maybe worth it.

My primary use of this piece is for monitoring when recording. Especially useful when the musician count is greater than the two headphone jacks on the board can handle. The thing that would concern me for critical listening is bass/treble controls built in. For critical listening, I just hook straight to the board. But my setup is likely not like the OP's.

That little bear thing looks like a "switch". you cant use several out together at the same time. You "switch" between them instead. That's the way to go (passive) with headphones.
A "splitter" - like the name says splits the signal so you can use it with different headphone/speakers at the same time. Not recommended (passive) could mess up your sound with headphones (dynamic & different impedances)

@Highdom no it won't but if two cans are connected on one port through a splitter, they run off of a signal thats meant for one and so get a reduction in -db on both. But perfectly audible.
